Today I had the honor of attending the 40th Black Belt Folk Roots Festival in Eutaw. This annual celebration pays tribute to those recognized as the keepers of folk ways, traditions and culture of the West Alabama region.

Celebrating Creative Hands, Creative People, Ole Time Gospel, and Ole Time Blues. It was a day full of fun, food, festivities, and music at the old Courthouse Square in Eutaw.

There were vendors selling all types of handmade goods and plenty of good food. From smoked sausage to ribs to burgers to fried fish to ice cream you name it they had it.

There is something  for everyone at the Annual Black Belt Folk Roots Festival sponsored by the Society of Folk Arts and Culture. Check out the photo gallery below:
