An early Sunday morning drive ended up in church...literally.

Two men were driving on Hargrove Rd. when they apparently lost control of the car as they were going up a slight hill and landed in the ceiling above the kitchen at Hargrove Memorial United Methodist Church.

According to wbrc.com the two men inside the car were not seriously injured in the wreck. They apparently climbed down from the car themselves and were sitting in front of the church when the fire department arrived on the scene.

The power and gas had to be shut off due to the damage.

But God is good and Church was still held later Sunday morning in another part of the church building.
