For a city so deep rooted in winning titles and self proclaiming it Title Town, imagine the thought of going 52 years here in Tuscaloosa without winning a championship in any sport. That's over a half-century of winning absolutely nothing in sports.

The city of Cleveland was on the verge of adding another year to that when they were down 3-1 in the 2016 NBA finals until they pull off an unbelievable comeback for the ages in defeating last years NBA champs and owner of a staggering 73-9 record.

LeBron did what he set out to do when he bolted from my beloved Miami Heat to go back to the city he loves. I can't be mad at the man for that. He delivered on his promise to get one for 'The Land' as he calls his home town. I'm still in a state of shock, talk about not seeing that one coming.

Imagine what would happen around here if Tuscaloosa would go 52 years without one National Championship. Sort brings into perspective.
