Creepy Restaurants Mascots Terrify Parents

For years, fast food restaurants have been using "mascots" to draw customers.  Some of the most memorable were McDonald's Mac Tonight and Ronald McDonald, Burger King's Burger King, and Wendy from Wendy's.  But lately, all the talk has been about the talking box from McDonald's.

Now, tell me what the big deal is with the box. There are more people walking around afraid of clowns, Santa, the Easter bunny, etc. than there ever WILL be of a child not wanting to eat a meal because of a talking box. Are you kidding me?  If anything, the children will be looking for the mouth on the boxes they receive.

However, this is just my opinion. What do you think? Is the talking Happy Meal box scary?
