Hip-hop artists like Jay Z and 50 Cent are some of today's biggest moneymakers. However, it looks like those two didn't make quite as much as Diddy has, making him Forbes' wealthiest hip-hop artist yet again.

Worth $700 million, Diddy -- or Puff Daddy as he prefers to be called these days -- managed to earn $120 million more than he did in 2013, thanks to Revolt TV.

“Right now my focus is Revolt and making it the number one, most-trusted, most credible worldwide brand for music,” he told Forbes at SXSW last month. “And to get Revolt to be the quintessential definition of real time. I think that’s the future.”

And assuming it will do even better than it already has, Revolt could be the ticket to Diddy's entrance into the billionaires club and make him the first hip-hop artist to join.

That move into television isn't the only reason Diddy has a massive fortune. Forbes has already called him the top earner for 2013 and he has the highest net worth.

The hip-hop mogul's ongoing deal with Ciroc gives him an eight-figure payout every year. And if the brand was ever sold, he would then earn nine figures. This doesn't count the other projects he's got going with Macy's and Fiat.

In 2013, Diddy topped Forbes' Wealthiest Hip-Hop Artists list, with Jay Z coming in right behind him.

With everything he's already jumped into and more on the horizon -- his solo album, 'MMM,' is expected to arrive this year -- Diddy's billionaire dreams may come true sooner than later.

Dr. Dre, Jay Z, Birdman and 50 Cent round out the list. Dr. Dre's net worth is $550 million, which is mainly due to the soaring success of Beats by Dr. Dre in 2008. Jay Z came in third with $520 million, a total that came from a number of deals he made over the past 12 months including selling Rocawear for $204 million and starting Roc Nation Sports.

Cash Money Records put Birdman on the list with a net worth of $160 million. But if he didn't share the profits with his brother and cofounder, Ronald "Slim" Williams, he'd have $300 million. And 50 Cent rounds out the top 5 with $140 million. This is mainly due to the $100 million deal with VitaminWater he's had since 2007.
