We've known about Alabama's opening opponent on the 2014 schedule for a couple of years, but this past weekend provided the first confirmation of a game time for the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game on August 30.

According to West Virginia's website, the game will kick off at 2:30 PM CT and be televised nationally by ABC. That's two hours earlier than the 2013 opener between Alabama and Virginia Tech.

The game in August will mark the seventh year for this premiere early-season game. 10 of the 14 teams that have played during the first six matchups have been ranked in the top 25. The Crimson Tide will continue this trend as it will likely carry a top 5 ranking into this game.

No other game times on Alabama's schedule have been announced for the 2014-15 season.
