The name Levert means two generations of music. The first generation being The O’Jays. The O’Jays lead by Eddie Levert and Walter Williams. The second is Levert lead by Gerald and Sean Levert.

The O’Jays, The Temptations, The Four Tops and The Chi-Lites were just a few groups in the 60’s, 70’s. 80’s that produced a string of hits. The competition was fierce but it was great for the music industry. The groups of this era were pumping out some great songs.

Gerald and Sean followed in their father’s footstep with Levert dominating the late 80’s and 90’s! Unfortunately, both Gerald and Sean died at the height of their careers.
