Gonorrhea Becoming Untreatable

There was once a time where the thought of contracting an STD was unbearable for most. Then, the concern was primarily the diseases for which there is no cure such as HIV, AIDS, and HSV. Looks like gonorrhea may be added to that list.

According to CBS News, gonorrhea is becoming increasingly resistant to the drugs currently used to treat it. Though studies are being done to find new treatment, none has been approved.

Unlike some other sexually transmitted infections, gonorrhea has a list of symptoms in men although it may go undetected in women.
