Is Interracial Dating Still Taboo?

The following picture is from my personal Facebook page, and the conversation is started intrigued me.

Some people seemed to be slightly upset by my statement while others laughed and even more agreed with me in that they are open to dating outside their race.  Then, this morning on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, they discussed the story of Taye Diggs splitting up with his wife.

The question was raised as to whether or not he'd be returning to Black women.  Why is that even still an issue with Black women? Is interracial dating still taboo?
