So lets be real, we all are probably spending way more than we should be spending this time a year. No matter how much we try to save by searching for those last minute specials we all tend to spend more than what we really need to spend.

I just don't mean buy gifts and other things, but for services as well. There was a survey conducted by http://care.com/ the survey was conducted to see just how much money is spent on various services during the holiday season. I'm sure it doesn't effect most of the listeners of WTUG, but I thought it was interesting to say the least.

Participants were asked to answer a number of questions pertaining to budgeting, saving, and spending during the holiday season, as well as how much they were willing to pay (and tip) for the following job types popular on Care.com at this time of year:

  • Holiday party babysitter
  • New Year's Eve babysitter
  • Holiday pet sitter
  • Holiday dog walker
