Keep Your Head To The Sky – The Day After April 27 2011

A good song will bring you out of a funk, and take the bad out of a bad day. One of my favorite songs is “Keep Your Head To The Sky” by Earth Wind, & Fire. This also happens to be of my favorite groups.  After the tornado on April 27, 2011 I was riding around looking at the destruction and I asked myself what are these people going to do. I had never seen such devastation in my life.  I started calling my friends and people I know, some were ok, some had some property damage and some were just without power for a few days.  The next day like everyone else I was drained both emotionally and mentally.  When I went on the air the next day, this was the only song I heard. It wasn’t the only song that played, but it was the only one I would hear, and every one I talked with regardless of how the storm affected them, assured me that they would be alright. This is a live performance of "Keep Your Head To The Sky".  Enjoy!
