Leslie Jones’ website was hacked Wednesday morning and subsequently shut down after her personal information, including photos and her driver’s license, was posted on the site. Hackers apparently collected her info and photos in an iCloud before moving them over to her site justleslie.com. The website is down and a GoDaddy holding page has replaced it for now.

This comes right after Jones returned to the states from a journalism stint in Rio, when her hilarious Twitter commentary was discovered by one of the committee chairs and she was invited to serve as a special correspondent for the Olympic festivities. Jones was previously subjected to hateful and racist abuse online after particularly negative reviews of her new movie Ghostbusters were published. Jones left Twitter, saying that the abuse made her feel like she was “in a personal hell,” but she later returned after assurances that the site would improve its response to attacks like the ones she endured.

Ghostbusters director Paul Feig posted a tweet defending Jones and condemning the hackers: “What’s happening to [Leslie Jones] is an absolute outrage. Alt right, haters, trolls, ‘comedians,’ whoever the f--- you all are, you’re all just sad.”

We can only hope that this is the last time anyone messes with Leslie Jones, and the last time any celebrity who is as fun and funny as she is will have to deal with something like this. The Ghostbusters Twitter abuse prompted a lot of folks to pressure CEO Jack Dorsey to put systems in place to deal with targeted online hate. We look forward to seeing Jones and her fellow co-stars in the 42nd season of Saturday Night Live later this year.
