Local Woman Kidnapped Beaten By Ex-Boyfriend

In a scene straight from the movie 'The Perfect Guy' a Tuscaloosa man is in jail after he held his girlfriend against her will. The victim, a 53-year-old woman, told officers the suspect hit her and forced her into the truck after she refused to let him borrow the vehicle Friday night.

She said she jumped out of the vehicle at a stop sign, then the suspect chased her, choked her and beat her after he forced her back in the truck.

He released her from the truck after six hours at a family member’s house.

According to al.com the suspect was arrested on the charges of first-degree kidnapping and domestic violence-strangulation after Tuscaloosa police responded to reports of a possible kidnapping at DCH Hospital on Saturday. Full Story
