It's now been one month since I've arrived  here in Tuscaloosa  as Brand Manager for WTUG FM and doing afternoon Drive 2pm - 7pm. There's so much to do and learn about  Tuscaloosa, it's not Birmingham at all. The entertainment that my listeners enjoy is slight different from most cities I've worked in the past.

Blues concerts and Blues music in general seem to be huge here, and I have to Understand exactly what drives them. Is it the artist, The location or is it the ability to be wide open in a sense, basically giving the audience the ability to just do whatever they want to do, after all it's on a farm right?

Artist like Calvin Richardson, Jeff Floyd, Vic and Ms Moody head lines Jays Farm place Memorial Day weekend. Jays Farm place? like I said it's on a farm In Sawyerville Alabama.

I am  far removed from my home town in Miami or the sunny beaches. I have a lot of learning to as to what my audience likes in General, But I'll get there by force because from what I've been told I'm just scratching the surface on what's coming for the rest of the summer.

The Audience will definitely have a lot to choose from in the next few days. As the end of this month has a whole lot going on with Jay's Farm place and The Annual T Towns Blues and Grooves Festival, Both happening on Memorial day weekend.

The Annual T Town Blues and Grooves is at H & H Farms in Foster Ala. and James Farm Place Is in Sawyerville both on Sunday Memorial Day weekend.
