Mom Turns Son In

With all that's going on in our community it feels good to know that some parents still try to do the right thing no matter how hard. What I'm talking about is the story about the mother who turned her son in after seeing his wanted picture.

That's got to be awkward turning your own son in to the police.

But it goes to show that mother believed in doing the right thing, no matter how hard, even to the point that she took him down to the police station to turn himself in.

According to al.com the mother recognized her son in a surveillance photo released by investigators several hours after the hold-up.
