YES, ALABAMA IS BEING SINGLED OUT HERE. I'm not happy about this in the least. This fact, about these insects on our faces, has disturbed me non-stop since finding this info last week.
I love it when Alabama makes it into the national conversation. But, uh, maybe not like this. Yesterday, a five year old named "Jackson" who loves to dress up, like a horror movie character, Chucky, is causing stir.
This is the absolute worst story I have ever reported. I love Alabama. ROLL TIDE! Sweeeeeeeeeeeet HOME Alabama!!!
However, what is with all the snake stories involving them inside with folks?
This is enough of this stuff.
No, no, no, no, NO! This columnist could live the rest of my life without being made aware of another story about spiders. I know I'm not the only person living in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with a deep hatred of spiders (and many other critters) that I will never get over. Very few people love spiders.
Spiders. Snakes. Cockroaches that fly. Welcome to Alabama. And Florida, Georgia and pretty much the entire South.
I love the south but hate the critters, I must admit.
As co-host of the Steve & DC Show, on 95.3 The Bear, we discussed the finding this morning. YES, that's right the hornet was found in a home right here in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. My partner, DC, is extremely allergic to hornets of any kind. I believe a name like "MURDER hornet" is enough to frighten those of us that aren't allergic! So far, to this columnists best research, no murder hornets have been found this far this deep in the South.

Happy Halloween! This is how it all starts...now we go to Northport, Alabama. A listener of the Steve & DC Show on 95.3 The Bear contacted us with a mystery. A haunting mystery in 2021. This individual does not want us to give any names or exact locations.
What's a holiday without a Tyler Perry movie? Nothing.
"Boo! A Madea Halloween" made 27.6 million dollars on its opening weekend. We haven't seen a Madea movie since 2013, and this was a great comeback. Creator,Tyler Perry owns his own studio, writes, produces, directs, and plays the hilarious Madea character...
As if it the movie Jaws didn't already scare us enough to go out into shark-infested waters, this weekend's events has us second-guessing if we should ever go into an ocean again!
