This morning, the Tuscaloosa Police Department will host "Coffee with a Cop" at Belle Foods on McFarland Blvd from 7:30 until 10:30. This gives area residents a chance to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers in your neighborhood.

According to our daily, longtime Tuscaloosa business owner Russell S. Lee has passed at the age of 90. His memorial service was held yesterday at First United Methodist Church.

Anti-abortion activists are demonstrating outside abortion clinics in five Alabama cities, including Tuscaloosa, as part of an international protest effort. The "40 Days for Life" campaign began Wednesday and is set to run through November 3.
