About a month ago I was in Publix shopping, and noticed as I was leaving I saw a van pull up and started loading food from the bakery. First thought was maybe some caterer was picking up goods for a party, event or something like that. But later I found out that Publix was donating goods to the local food bank, later I found out that Publix isn't the only one, many such stores and Restaurants contribute to local food banks. It's the same thing that goes on in West Alabama for the West Alabama Food Bank.

This week they will be doing the annual West Alabama Food bank Event this Thursday at 6pm at The Tuscaloosa River Market to help raise awareness and raise needed funds . Restaurants from Tuscaloosa and Surrounding counties will provide their favorite dish. Each Ticket includes admission, 2 beverage tickets and a night of food, fun and Music.

Tickets are just $45.00 ( presale ) three ways you can get tickets 1. any local Alabama Credit union office 2. online at westalabamafoodbank.org and 3. visit WAFB's all aboard facebook page.
