You KNOW spring is coming into full swing when outdoor events begin to be scheduled every week. Tomorrow, there is something for EVERYONE to enjoy! And some of it is FOR THE FREE!

As we've been advertising, Springfest kicks off the outdoor blues concert season in the back yard at Blues 24-7 with King Russell, Dirty Soul, Big G, and more.

Of course, this is for the adult crowd; but if you're looking for something to do with your family, the Sickle Cell Disease Association will hold a Walk-a-Thon at Central High School, which will include a short race for smaller children. The event begins at 7:20am.

Then, turning Point will have a Walk-a-Thon at Sokol Park beginning at 8am, and Child Abuse Prevention Services will hold "All About Kids" at Sokol Park from 9am until 7pm. http://capstuscaloosa.org/events/caps-annual-sky-lantern-festival/
