The Tuscaloosa Public Library has had an extremely busy summer, and this week marks the end of the On Your Mark, Get Set... Read! Summer Reading Program.

The free program has captured and held the interest of students of all ages all summer long, keeping a more relaxed mode of learning outside the classroom.

This week's activities include a Microsoft Powerpoint 2013 Beginner Class from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and Storytime from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. today and Preschool Storytime from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and Gaming for all from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wednesday activities include Baby Steps Storytime from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Preschool Storytime from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Storytime from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Teens and Tweens Creative Writing from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Then Thursday is another full day with Toddler Time Storytime from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Legoland from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Teen Zone from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and even Zumba from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

As you can see, there's something for everyone at the Tuscaloosa Public Library. With school starting in just a few weeks, taking advantage of these programs helps to transition from one school year to the next, but it's important to note that the library offers a number of services all year long.
