    Manci's Antique Club

Fascinating antiques and delicious food come together to create magic in the 'Bloody Mary Capital of the Eastern Shore' in Olde Towne Daphne, Alabama!

In 1924, Italian immigrant Frank Manci purchased an old wooden produce warehouse in what is known today as downtown Daphne.

That same year, Frank built a gas station and ran the antique-gas station mutation until his son Arthur took over in 1947. In 1987, his son took over and eventually added food to the list of amazing reasons to visit Manci's.

Manci's Antique Club has been featured in Southern Living, Coastal Living and Diners, Drive Ins & Dives after the word about their seafood Po-Boys and burgers leaked out. While you're waiting on your food, check out the largest collection of Jim Beam decanters on display.

    Bamahenge

One of the best things about Bamahenge is that this fiberglass version of Stonehenge is free, open to the public and only a short drive away to Elberta.

Artist Mark Cline built the structure at his studio before transporting the panels to the site on flatbed trucks. He even made sure the site was in line with the June 21st solstice.

If you plan on making a trip to Bamahenge don't expect any directional help. There aren't any sings but Al.com was kind enough to offer directions:

'Drive U.S. 98 either eight miles east of Foley or 21 miles west of Pensacola. Turn south on County Road 95. Drive for five miles. Turn right onto Fish Trap Road. Drive a half-mile. Turn left onto Leiterman Road. Drive one mile. Bamahenge is on the right, set back about 100 yards beyond some trees. Visible from the road.'
