“What Kind of Phone Do You Have?”
It seems that technology has changed the game. There was once a day where a man would approach a woman in whom he had interest, and she'd ask, "What kind of car do you drive?" This supposedly gave her insight into his financial situation.
Well, I recently read an article, stating that your cell phone may be the first thing a person notices about you.
I thought it was a joke until I was in an online forum, and a guy posted a picture of himself, taking a picture in a mirror. One of the first comments on his post was, "What kind of phone is that?"
I didn't know people take these things so seriously. Now, I feel like I need to keep my phone hidden. I broke a phone a few months ago, and a good friend let me borrow a phone until I get mine fixed or buy a new one. The thing is the screen on the borrowed phone is cracked up WWWAAAYYY more than mine, but it's usable, whereas mine isn't.
I guess it's safe to assume that a person who sees my phone would think I'm broke and probably a bit nonchalant. I can't say that either of those are inaccurate. What impression do you think your phone gives?
