Where to Watch Alabama Football in Tuscaloosa
Tuscaloosa, Alabama is one of the great football cities in the country. The home of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide, Saturday’s are special around here.
There is no doubt, everyone should experience watching a game at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Another experience any Alabama fan should try is watching a game at one of the many restaurants and bars around Tuscaloosa. You’ll find unique character, lots of crimson and die-hard Tide fans! The options range from being close to the stadium on The Strip, or nearby downtown or around the area.
I’ve compiled a list featuring a variety of 7 places to watch Alabama football in Tuscaloosa! The list mostly comprised of sports themed establishments. There are so many other places normally not about sports, but when it’s Alabama football they focus on appealing to fans. An iconic sports bar with a large patio area, which leads to being one of the best spots for people watching on The Strip before and after the game. There are plenty of TV’s and BBQ on the smoker. BBQ nachos with jalapenos are a specialty during home game Saturdays!
Another iconic spot on The Strip. This eatery is fan favorite for wings and football. Get there early to grab a spot to watch the game on one of the many TV’s.
Major renovations have people talking about the exciting new look of this popular spot. The rooftop deck is a must when there. You’ll have a great view of University Boulevard and be able to hear the cheers from the stadium.
A large patio area and a couple of large rooms indoors. Lots of TV’s. Plus, there’s good Irish pub food on the menu. Easy to find between the downtown area and The Strip on University Boulevard.
Your first steps indoors and you’ll notice a very long bar which is lined with a large variety of beer taps and TV’s. There is ample seating and a full menu. Plus, there are quite a few pool tables for a halftime game. Located just off University Boulevard on 4th Street.
As you ride down McFarland Boulevard away from campus, you’ll find BWW and plenty of parking. Known for surrounding you with TV’s and a healthy list of signature sauces to go on the wings.
On the edge of campus off McFarland Boulevard. This is former Alabama player Bob Baumhower’s restaurant. Enjoy the Alabama and football memorabilia. Plus, plenty of TV’s and wings for the game!
UPDATE: This location is closed for renovations. However, visit the new location near Cobb Hollywood 16 Cinemas (Skyland at Hwy 69) or Bob’s Victory Grille in Midtown Village (McFarland Boulevard).
