With the 2014 FIFA World Cup about to begin in Brazil, fans around Tuscaloosa are searching out a soccer-friendly establishment to watch the games over the next month.

The biggest event in soccer will kickoff with the host-nation Brazil taking on Croatia Thursday at 3 PM CT. That’s the only game taking place on day one, but every day after that will have a full afternoon of soccer until the group stage ends on June 26. For the sake of planning, remember that the games will take place at 11am, 2pm, and 5pm each day until June 23 (Here’s the full, detailed schedule).

If the US Men’s National Team is your priority, make sure you have these dates written down and saved.

Monday, June 16 – United States vs Ghana (5 PM, ESPN)

Sunday, June 22 – United States vs Portugal (5 PM, ESPN)

Thursday, June 26 – United States vs Germany (11 AM, ESPN)

So where are you going to watch these games in Tuscaloosa? With games beginning at 11 AM each day, it might be a bit of a challenge to find a bar or restaurant that opens early enough. That’s why we’ve put a list of places for you to choose from that will definitely be showing every game.

Innisfree

Innisfree is billing itself as 'Your World Cup Headquarters' so you know they'll be showing every game. You'll always be able to see the action as the televisions cover every area of the bar. The kitchen is normally open for lunch and dinner, meaning you can spend the day there if you'd like.

Filling Station

The Filling Station will be open for every game in the heart of Temerson Square. If you're looking for someone to talk the game with, this place is a great choice. Bartender Chris Coleman knows soccer and will chat you up while you're hanging out. This spot is also 'Tuscaloosa's Official Home of the FIFA World Cup Bracket' so fill one out and follow along.

T-Burger 2

T-Burger will have every game of the World Cup on its nice selection of televisions. The restaurant has a big outdoor patio so it can handle a big crowd if a lot of soccer fans turn out. They serve lunch and dinner so you could easily make a full day of it.

Alcove

The folks at the Alcove will be showing every US game and providing some free food offerings while the Americans play. They plan to show as many World Cup games as possible, but you'll have to call ahead to see about the early games each day. The televisions are a bit smaller so if the crowd gets full, it might be a little more difficult to see.

Buffalo Wild Wings

One of the most popular sports bar chains in the country is always a safe bet for watching big events. The World Cup won't be any different. With a nice beer selection and food all day, BWW can be a nice pick.
