Why Is It So Easy For IRS Scammers To Pull Off Their Scam?

Did the IRS layout the blueprint for a scam that’s yielded criminal over $15 million dollars?  If you haven’t heard how the IRS will treat you if you are not in their good graces.

We’ve heard how they will garnish your check, take your home, and even arrest you.  If you don’t believe the IRS is ruthless ask Ronald Isley and Wesley Snipes. If the IRS will go after the likes of Martha Stewart, Marc Anthony, and Nicolas Cage why would I think they wouldn’t come after me?

I can see how and why somebody would fall for a scam from someone pretending to be an IRS agent.  The reason why this scam is working so well is because the big bad IRS has such a reputation for doing all the things the scammers say they will do.

After all I don’t think IRS calls anyone just to say hello! The IRS said if you get a call from someone claiming to be an IRS agent demanding immediate payment hang up the phone you are being scammed.  Read more about IRS scammer here.
