So with the City of Tuscaloosa and The Big Social Car service Company Uber coming to and agreement with an Ordinance allowing Uber operational rights in the city with pending approval tonight.

Just what does this mean for Tuscaloosa drivers who will be hired as drivers and those who will using it's services.

There are some who may not know exactly what Uber is, Uber is a an American Multinational online transportation network company that has developed an app. which allows customers with smartphones to submit a trip request which is then routed to Uber drivers say here in Tuscaloosa who use their own cars.

But just how safe is Uber, would it work in certain areas, will drivers drive to areas that would be perceived not to safe. How would you feel about getting in some ones car you just met? All those are puzzling questions that has been asked sine the start of Uber. I'm sure it would work great on the UA campus or after a game at Bryant Denny, or if you have to get a pick up after a night on the stripe off University.

But what about areas that aren't as popular or areas that seem unsafe, as with most businesses. I think we all know where I'm going with this, Uber isn't for everyone, but I'm a fan of anything that sees the city move in a positive direction with Technology.
