Children in Halloween costumes

Last night, I had the opportunity to go out in the community and hang with some kids. We took the station vehicle to the infamous Drish House for Monster Makeover.  It was a charity event to help spread literacy in the Tuscaloosa area. Children at several schools were told to draw what a monster looks like to them. Then, local artist in the community recreated the kids' images to be auctioned off.

For the trunk or treat portion of the event, WTUG 92.9 provided tons of candy, cheese balls, and pretzels for the kids, and their parents too. Kids were dressed up in their Halloween costumes, such as, a dinosaur, pizza, Nemo, and even Minnie Mouse.

Overall, we had a great time, it provided kids a safe place to get candy and for artist to put their pieces on display to the community.
