Does Anybody Really Know Why Alabama Has A Problem With Electronic Bingo

Just what makes electronic bingo illegal? Why after allowing casinos to operate electronic bingo for over 10 years under an amendment to the state’s constitution that was passed in 2003, the state of Alabama decides it illegal?

How is the state allowed to ignore an amendment that was passed by the citizens? I guess in the state of Alabama the peoples vote carries little or no weight.

I think these issues should have been addressed at the time the amendment.
