After serving three years on a probation violation, Gucci Mane was released from prison on Thursday (May 26).

The Atlanta rhymer’s attorney, Drew Findling, confirmed to TMZ that Gucci was released Thursday morning from an Indiana prison. The “Lemonade” rapper will be on house arrest for a few months and will then be placed on probation.

Apparently, Findling and his legal team filed a motion months ago for Gucci to serve a shorter sentence for for previous time served. The judge agreed and grant Gucci an early release.

The 36-year-old rapper has been in prison since September 2013. Gucci, whose real name is Radric Davis, pleaded guilty of firearms possession in May 2014. Back in February, word arrived that his release had been set for September 2016.

Upon his release, Gucci was reunited with his girlfriend, Keyshia Ka'oir (formerly Keyshia Dior), who has been posting Snapchat videos of holding hands with her boo. In an Instagram video (watch above), we can see that the Brick Squad leader has slimmed down a bit and has abs.

Meanwhile, reactions to Gucci being let out of prison have been overwhelmingly positive. According to a tweet from the Brick Squad 1017 Records Twitter account, Gucci is already in the studio plotting his next music project. Fellow rappers Devin the Dude and Big Boi have also sent tweets to Gucci Mane.
