Heads Up, Tuscaloosa: Major Traffic Delays Possible This Weekend

Traffic jam
Maciej Korzekwa

You’re going to need to add a few extra minutes to your commute this weekend, as it’s going to be a crazy one in here in T-Town.  The University of Alabama will host its annual commencement exercises, with three different graduation ceremonies scheduled. Thousands of parents, friends, and other family members are expected to head in to Tuscaloosa to attend, and with the semester ending, thousands more students will be packing up and moving around or out of town.

Extra traffic is expected this weekend, so plan accordingly for delays.
