Lead Poison Is The Highest In The Country In Two Alabama Counties

Two Alabama counties have lead poisoning much higher than Flint, Michigan, including one where a majority of children tested had lead poisoning.

According to CDC data compiled by Vox.com, Houston County has the highest level of lead poisoning in the country. In Houston County seven of 12 children tested there have lead levels high enough to qualify as lead poisoning.

More than one in three children tested positive for lead poisoning in Dallas County.
