Let Me Introduce You To Sam Cooke

People often ask me what I enjoy most about my job.  I enjoy talking with the WTUG listeners.  You never know who is calling and what they want to talk about.

Today a young lady called me and asked me a question about the late great Sam Cooke.  I know very little about Sam Cooke, and I didn’t know the answer to the question she asked but I knew I could find it on the internet.

The question was what was the first song Sam Cooke recorded on a major label?  After a little research we were both surprised when I discovered that Sam had recorded a song title “Lovable” under the name Dale Cook.
