Let’s not invite the burglars.

For those who don’t know or never thought about it this is not only the season for giving it’s the season for burglaries too.  More burglaries take place this time of year than any other time of year. It’s sad but it’s true. This is the time of year you need to double check to make sure all the doors and windows are locked, the alarms are set, the curtains are closed and every outside light is on.  If you come home and you notice your home has been broken into don’t go in the house.  Leave immediately and call 911. Under no circumstances should you try stop or apprehend a burglar.  Again call 911.

When we think about burglaries we often forget about the car.  Don't leave anything that might tempt a thief in plain sight.  Put your items in the trunk. And please if you notice any suspicious activity call 911.
