Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month By Sharing Why You Wear Pink [PHOTOS]
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we're inviting you to support the cause in a special way! In the United States, one of every eight women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in her lifetime; Breast Cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women and the second-leading cause of death for women in the U.S.
Chances are you know someone who has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and we're challenging you to step up and show your support this October. Here's what you do:
- Take a photo of yourself or your friends wearing pink.
- Post it to Instagram with the hashtag #whyiwearpink.
- Share your story: Are you supporting a friend or remembering a loved one? Write it down on a sign and include it in your pic, or share your story in the caption of your photo.
We'll feature our #whyiwearpink photos in the gallery below, and by submitting you'll be entered to win some cool prizes, too! We'll randomly select a winner to receive special Breast Cancer Awareness beauty products which help support Breast Cancer Research; prizes will be announced soon.
