Tatyana Ali Returns to Music With a Performance of ‘Wait For It’ on ‘Arsenio’
Tatyana Ali is returning to music. The actress, most known for her role on 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,' debuted her new song, 'Wait For It,' on 'The Arsenio Hall Show' Tuesday night (Feb. 4).
'Wait For It' is an upbeat track centered on finding a love that takes your breath away. The effort is part of Tatyana's new five-song EP, 'Hello,' which was released independently by the singer.
The 35-year-old Brooklyn, N.Y., native released her last album, 'Kiss the Sky,' in 1998. On 'Hello,' she's returning with a more mature vibe. "It's been a really long time since I've done anything musically," she told Arsenio. "I feel like I'm really able to be myself... It's an introduction."
Recently, Tatyana was back in the headlines when she was linked romantically to fellow actor-singer Drake. She spoke about the rumored romance when their hang session hit the news, remaining coy. Drake, on the other hand, shouted Tatyana out on his 'Tuscan Leather' with the line, "The fresh prince, just had dinner with Tatyana, no lie / All these '90's fantasies on my mind / The difference is that with mine, they all come true in due time."
Could Drake be the love she sings about on 'Wait For It'? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
