The Hispanic / Latino Festival that's going down July 30th is something that if you have no plans that weekend you may want to check out. Growing up in South Florida I know what it all about the array of flavors a festival like this can bring, and bring more culture to the city.

The Hispanic community is so diverse and so big, from Puerto Rican to Cuban to Mexico and everything south of the Boarder. The food is just the beginning, music dancing and gifts is the mainstream part of the culture as well. If you are lucky enough you could stumble on a Cuban Cigar.

Most in folks here in Alabama when they see or think Hispanic Festival they quickly think Mexican, trust me it's a lot more than just that, as each culture has there own traditions believe and food. Like I Said it's a must see, if you happen to have some time next Saturday July 30th.

The Event will be taking place at the Somo Church 212 44th Ct. NE, sponsored by the West Alabama  Aid Out reach and the Dept of Health.
