Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox has requested that the Tuscaloosa City Board of Education donate the University Place Elementary First Avenue right of way to the city, to be used to complete the City Walk, a 5.9-mile recreational walking and bike trail that follows the track of the April 27, 2011 tornado.
