The Associated Press reports that the 28-year-old rapper (real name Juaquin James Malphurs) was stopped when his carry-on bag was discovered to have had a handgun inside. Malphurs didn't have a permit for the weapon and he was subsequently arrested for carrying a weapon in a prohibited place.

According to TMZ, Malphurs' rep, Debra Antney, explained that he had grabbed his fiance's bag by accident and unknowingly had the gun inside. She also stated that the two are currently in the process of moving houses, and in the state of chaos of things being moved around, that's how the gun ended up in the bag.
