What A Masterpiece This Is The First Pumpkin Carving

Last night I did something I have never done in my life.  I have never wanted to do it. I actually thought it was the biggest was of time.  It’s real easy to feel that way about something you have never tried.

Well my perception of carving a pumpkin was that it was messy and would leave a really big clean up job.

When I was informed that we were having a pumpkin carving contest for the air personalities of the stations in the building, I said you are kidding me.  I have never picked up a pumpkin in my life and you are asking me to carve one.  I said no way.

A very dear friend offered to help.  She even volunteered to buy the carving kit.  After  looking at the finished product  I realized I should have let her help.

Once I got started it wasn’t so bad. It’s not something that I look forward to doing again.  But it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
