Why Are People Still Getting Married?

Why do people still get married? The divorce rate is keeps getting higher and higher.  And people just seem to be getting married today just to get divorced.

Marriage is the biggest challenge a person will face in their lifetime.  It’s a commitment to give your life to another, forever.  Forever is a very long time.

But people are marrying now for a different reason now. Marriage now is more of a status symbol than an expression of love. So why are people still getting married?
