Zimmerman’s Parents Sue Roseanne… But Why?

So, George Zimmerman's parents have filed suit against Roseanne Barr for tweeting their home address. Is this some kind of a joke?  Don't they know that nothing's a secret anymore?

I can remember holding a Facebook inbox conversation with a friend, and every time he commented from his phone, it told me where he was.  And when I say "where he was," I mean EXACTLY where he was, as in the nearest intersection.

Therefore, it was hard for me to keep from laughing as I covered this headline in my news cast this morning.  This suit is laughable at best.  How is Roseanne responsible for passing along something that's public knowledge?  Think I'm lying? Do a Google search for any random person in a particular city.  Spokeo will tell you how many people are in the household, their ages, median income, etc.

These days, even courthouse records are online.  All you have to do is type in a name and date range and just about anything you really want to know is right at your fingertips. The Zimmermans really need to reevaluate themselves if they really think anybody is concerned about where they live. Now, their son on the other hand..... Yeah, he should be afraid.
