Fans in Tuscon, Ariz. got a surprise Wednesday night (Aug. 9) when 2 Chainz kicked off his show at the Rialto Theatre a little unexpectedly—in a custom pink wheelchair.

The rapper broke his leg two weeks ago and underwent surgery for the injury, unbeknownst to fans. Although the doctor said the injury would probably result in him cancelling his tour, 2 Chainz wasn't hearing it, and requested that somebody find him a pink wheelchair because the show had to go on. And it definitely did, as he rocked the show from a snazzy pink wheelchair with the word "Trap" written across the back, falling in line with his pink trap house theme for his latest release, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.

2 Chainz shared the entire story on Instagram.

"So I broke my leg 11 days ago , and had surgery 10 days ago .. when I woke up from sedation the doctor told me " well looks like your gonna have to cancel your tour " so I told him maybe it means God wants me to use my mind and be creative!" he wrote.

No word on when he'll be off crutches but you can peep his tour schedule here.
