2 Jefferson County Men Charged with Robbing Tuscaloosa Pharmacy
Two Jefferson County men are in custody after they allegedly robbed a CVS Pharmacy in Tuscaloosa Tuesday night.
According to a release from the Tuscaloosa Police Department, Terrance Cordale Walker, 31, and Pattrius Marquis Allen, 29 allegedly walked to the pharmacy section of the CVS Pharmacy on Veterans Memorial Parkway. One of the suspects allegedly passed a note to the pharmacy employee, demanding medication while gesturing to imply that he was armed. The other suspect who was allegedly involved in the robbery stood by.
Both suspects then left the store in a white Nissan Altima, traveling toward I-20/59. Three officers who were patrolling the area attempted to initiate a traffic stop around the 87-mile mark but the driver allegedly refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit.
The suspects exited the interstate at the Academy Drive exit in Bessemer before coming to a stop on Flint Hill road, where they allegedly bailed out of the vehicle.
Both suspects are facing charges of first-degree robbery, tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance, trafficking a controlled substance and attempting to allude. At this time, a bond amount has not been set.
