Saturday, May 5, Stillman College hosted a Gold and White Mardi Gras fundraiser which was simply amazing!

For starters, the event planners did a phenomenal job with the decorations, catering, and transforming Birthright Auditorium to a ballroom.

The staff of WTUG led the informal ceremony, in which President Cynthia Warrick addressed those in attendance.  Later in the night, Michele Coley (formerly known as longtime WTUG air personality Michele Miller) discussed how her education at Stillman College via the SMI program helped in the advancement of her career to the degree that she recently opened her own insurance agency!

During this event, we were able to network with many attendees, including the Mayor of Boligee.

But perhaps the most rewarding was having the opportunity to dance and mingle with Stillman leadership, from college personnel to student government leaders.

Though this was definitely a night of fun times, the main cause was to raise money for the college. So, even those who weren't able to attend may still make financial contributions.  Click here to see the various ways Stillman College makes this easy.
