The Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team has made a run to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in Indianapolis. The Tide has been away from Tuscaloosa on its postseason run for the last three weeks. To ensure the team protects itself from COVID-19 the team has traveled in a 34-person, separated from the public.

The keep the team from going stir-crazy in Indianapolis the program arraigned a few field trips to entertain the team. On Tuesday the team visited the Indianapolis Zoo and on Wednesday the team took a trip to Top Golf.

The Crimson Tide saw dolphins, penguins, lions and more. Freshman guard Josh Primo said his favorite animal to see at the zoo was the walrus.

Additionally the Crimson Tide went to TopGolf on Wednesday to get some activity away from basketball. It's safe to say the players and staff were more suited to the basketball court than the golf course.

The Alabama Crimson Tide had fun and even caught the eye of of professional golfer and Alabama Alum, Justin Thomas.

The Crimson Tide has made a historic run into the Sweet 16, the program's first since 2004. It is nice to see the players find some relaxation during a high pressure point of the season.

Alabama will take on the UCLA Bruins on Sunday, March 28 at 6:15 CT for the right to advance to the Elite 8.
