The Crimson Tide takes one more step to clinch the SEC regular season championship as they defeat the Georgia Bulldogs 115-82. Alabama's 115 points were a season high in scoring and the most the Tide has ever scored in an SEC contest.

Early on the Bulldogs kept themselves in the game with consistent ball pressure and scoring in transition. This alongside of Sahvir Wheeler's persistent penetration  broke down the interior defense and allowed for easy buckets at the rim.

But Bama would adjust and hold true to their No.1 defensive ranking. Holding the bulldogs to 41% shooting and 10% from deep. In addition to that they capitalized off of Georgia's mistakes by scoring 13 points off of turnovers.

Offensively the Tide seem to be in mid-season form from the start of the game with stellar ball movement, quick passes, and a continuity that led to easy baskets.  Herbert Jones answered any remaining questions about his back injury as he dropped 17 on 6/8 shooting along with three dimes, three rebounds, and two blocks. John Petty would chip in 10 points and Jaden Shackelford would add eight points and four assists in the first half alone.

The second half would primarily feature Josh Primo who scored 14 points and caught fire to effectively close out the Bulldogs, Jahvon Quinerly would add in eight points as the Tide cruised to victory.

With the lead being secured Coach Oats was allowed to show off some young talent off the bench and it looked like this.
