Alabama Gets A New Area Code

Starting some time in April,  we will get another area code in Alabama.

So far, we have 256 in North Alabama, 205 Central Alabama,  there is 334 in Montgomery, AL and surrounding counties and 251 in Mobile and surrounding counties.

Starting in April,  you can add another one to that list. Some people in central Alabama  will see the numbers 659 in front of their phone numbers.

This will allow Alabama to have access to more phone numbers. Your current phone number and clothing the current area code will not change.
