Alabama will open practice on Friday, March 11, the same day that the University is set to begin its Spring Break.

Once the University resumes classes on Monday, March 21 the Crimson Tide will resume spring ball and hold 13 practices over a four-week period culminating with the A-Day scrimmage in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Coach Nick Saban will hold media availability on eight occasions during spring ball, creating ample opportunities to hear from college football's greatest coach. Unfortunately the practices will be closed to the media, but Alabama Athletics will be providing video footage from each practice.

Spring practice will be the first chance for Alabama's early enrollees to hit the field for the Tide, Jeremiah Alexander, Ty Simpson and Jihaad Campbell highlight the early enrollees but it will also be the coaches first chance to check out the three transfer player, Jermaine Burton, Eli Ricks and Jahmyr Gibbs.
