As Tennessee Hate Week continues, Alabama fans will soon head to Knoxville to cheer on the Crimson Tide to victory. Game day is Saturday, October 17, with kickoff at 2:30 p.m. at Neyland Stadium.

  • Be sure to remember that Knoxville is in the Eastern time zone.

Here are some fun game day activities to enjoy on the University of Tennessee campus.

The Band March

This fun game day activity starts 1 hour and 40 minutes before kickoff. The Pride of the Southland Band will “march and begin on Pat Head Summitt Street, take a left onto Volunteer Boulevard and proceed down the Johnson-Ward Pedestrian Walkway before entering Neyland Stadium at Gate 2,” said UT Sports. “The Salute to the Hill will take place at the corner of Volunteer Boulevard and the entrance to the Johnson-Ward Pedestrian Walkway.”

The Vol Walk

The UT Football team’s walk to the stadium takes place “2 hours and 25 minutes before kickoff at the Torchbearer statue in Circle Park on Volunteer Drive. It continues down Peyton Manning Pass before turning left on Phillip Fulmer Way and into the stadium through Gate 21-A,” said UT Sports.

Volunteer Village

UT Sports said, “There will be live music, activities for everyone of all ages, food trucks, and more. You won’t want to miss out on stopping by a reimagined Vol Village, located in a great spot to see the Vol Walk and the Band March just across from Circle Park.”
