Sometimes you just want comfort food. For some people, it's chocolate, mom’s mac & cheese, tacos, ice cream, and we all know the list is endless. For me, it’s a FRIED BOLOGNA sandwich.

This ultimate comfort food is fried bologna from a cast-iron skillet. It must be on the cheapest white bread you can find, and of course, Duke’s mayo is expertly slathered.

The other day, I desperately needed some comfort. The best way I can describe a fried bologna sandwich is a hug from my mother.

I went to Facebook to air out my desires with this post:

I thought I was the only one that loved a good ole’ fried bologna sandwich. I couldn’t be more wrong. Who knew there were so many variations of the ultimate southern staple!

This makes me want to get a Blackstone grill!

I'm here for the cast-iron skillet!

This looks so good!

Lord knows I love my InstaPot!!!!

Always make your slit!

This is super fancy.
